I am still in need of 3 more parent volunteers. Calling for grandmas, grandpas, mummies or daddies, if you have a passion for working with children, this is the right role for you. Thebooks are provided. All you have to do is to read the book to the children in your charge. At the end of theactivity, you can quiz the children.

1) Do Stellar WS Unit 3 Pg 1 and 3.
2) On a piece of drawing paper, choose one of the places that Dan, the Flying Man flew over. ( house, crane,bridge, train,flowers, trees, mountains, seas, )
Draw a picture of him flying over that place and write the sentence "Dan, the Flying Man is flying over......." Colour the picture. Write name, class and date at the top.
3) Parents, Unit 1 and 2 Stellar WS have been returned to the pupils for checking and signing. Please remind your son to hand them back tomorrow. Thanks so much!

3) Story book was exchanged today. Pls remind your son to read the book or read the book with him. Next day of exchange - next Monday. There were three boys who forgot to bring the book today. They will exchange their books with the class next week as well.
4) Parents, please remind your son to bring 3 sharpened pencils, a ruler and a blue pen for corrections everyday. Also, pls remind him to sharpen his pencils in the night before he packs his bag. Thanks so much!
5) Parents, the school is appealing for donations from parents regarding a pupil from Pr 5 who is now in coma. If you feel that you would like to help, pls write a cash cheque or hand in cash through your son or the General Office. On the back of the cheque, pls write the words "We care" to differentiate payment. Do not make out the cheque payable to Catholic High School as the cash will be handed over to the parents of the pupil. Thanks!

1) First of all, I would like to thank all parnts and class reps of the class who put in so much effort to organise the class party for us. I am sure that this has created a lasting impression on the boys and contributed to class bonding. I am also glad that I managed to catch up with the parents who turned up today. Thank you so much! 7) Bring colour pencils for CNY colouring cometition tomorrow.

Parents, I seek your co-operation in reminding your sons to write neatly, paying special attention to lower case letters when they cross over the line. Many pupils are still unsure as to how to write the lower case letters and I have already gone over the tracing of those letters in class.
Also, esp for Pg 13, get your child to read the text to you. The words found there are words taken from the reading of the Big Book "Mrs Wishy Washy".

4) Parents, pls be informed that your son has been given his injection today.Pls monitor him and let him drink lots of water. He might get a fever or some muscle ache but that is common. Should it persist, pls see a doctor.
5) Pls be reminded about the class party this Friday. The class reps from the parent support group is in the midst of co-ordinating food items for the party. Pls let them know what your son will be bringing. You are allowed to come earlier at around 10 am to help set up the table. If you can't, youir son can bring in the food item when he comes in to school in the morning.

Presently, we only have 2 parent volunteers who are able to help out . I need at least 6 parent volunteers to run this programme. Are there any of you who will be able to help out? You just need to invest half an hour a week on Tuesdays , reading to our boys and getting them interested in reading. We will provide the books for your reading.

Please check that he brings the book on Mondays for the exchanging as we do not want to inconvenience other pupils who may not get a book to bring home that Monday.
