2) New SPURS Bk for T2 is given. Bring every Tuesday.
3) Next Tuesday 3/4 , we'll be having a sandwich-making session for the boys under the MLEA Programme.  The boys will be making their sandwiches in groups. They have been informed of the items to bring along for the session.  Please ensure your son brings the items he has promised the group .
I would also like to take this opportunity to appeal for parent volunteers to help us out next week in this session. Please do sms me if you would like to help out. Thanks!

1) Pls submit P1 Registration forms, for those who have not done so. A nil return ( wth parent's signature) is required. Pupils to write the index no  on the top right of form. Thanks!

2) Rubrics for Show and Tell is given today.  Bring item that represents family ( eg picture or teddy bear )  Remember to include answers for  question words like Who, What, When, How, Why in presentation. Eg  Who are the members in your family? ( Do not add in the questions for your presentation) To be added in the script - " Members of my family include  my father, mother, brother and sister." Do not prepare scripts that are too long. Have between 8 to 10 sentences. Pupil may not be able to remember the words and sentences for their presentation.

5) Parents, please be reminded that AMODES 1 ( Show and Tell ) will be carried out in Week 4 of this term. Next week, we will be holding a mock test on Thursday and Friday on the topic " My Family". Pupils are to bring in an item that reminds them of  their family.

I will be giving the pupils more details on Monday when I see them. The rubrics for the test will also be given to them on Monday. Parents, maybe you would like to use this week-end to discuss with your child what item they can bring in for the mock test next week that reminds them of their family. Also, please be informed that your child can prepare about 8 to10 sentences for the Show-and Tell. They will not be allowed to read from their  script
The topic for the actual Show and Tell Test will be given to your child next week . Pupils will be tested on preparedness, whether they speak clearly, use complete sentences, content, use of good vocabulary and whether they are able to elaborate a little on an  idea used.

2) There is still a "My Folio" file in the classroom. Majority of the pupils did not hand in this file but about 5 pupils handed it in at the beginning of the year. There is a pupil who handed it at the beginning of the year but has still not claimed it yet. The file does not have any name on it. If it belongs to you, please see me tomorrow to claim it. Thanks!

1) First of all, I would like to apologise that your sons did not write the homework for today due to time constraint. Secondly, I will be away from school tomorrow. The pupils will be given work to complete in class. Also, I have postponed  the awarding of prizes for the group competition to the first Monday after the school holidays. Sorry about that as I know many of the pupils have been looking forward to it.

3) Bring story book for exchange on the first Monday after the holidays.

4) Spelling Term 2 - first Monday after the holidays ( Pupils will be tested on Unit 9 spellimg  list )

6) I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all parents for the amazing support given in dressing  and preparing the children for the Costume Parade with Rap competition held recntly. . Indeed, it was a huge success.

3rd - Clemens ( Ninja turtle)
Congratulations to all the children and parents for putting in their your best effort in the competition.

EnXian will be representing the class in the finals on 20 /3/12. He will have to come dressed in costume on that day. He will be competing with the best participants from the various Pr 1 claases.

1)  We have the 'Costume Parade with Rap' Class competition this coming Monday 5/3/12. All boys will  wear their costumes from home.  They can use it for the whole day. They need not change out of it, even for PE lesson. For pupils with bulky costume, I will do my best to test you before recess so you can get your parents to help change you out of the costume by recess. (10.15 am)  Please  prepare for it. ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes are up for grabs! )
2) Letter on AMODES details for the whole year is given.
3) Bring story book for exchange on Monday.
4) Envelope for Charities Week is given. Put cash or cheque in envelope given. Write your personal details on the envelope and seal it. Hand in on Monday to Mrs Thomasz .
5) Small award slip is given from General Office, in case you want to nominate a teacher for it.
6)  Complete letter to Mr Lee on fun ctivities. Hand in on Monday.
7) A letter on Information on Grammar and Vocabulary items for Term 2 is given.
