1) School dismissal - School will end at 12.30 pm this coming Monday 30/4 as teachers will be busy marking exam scripts after school.
2) Revise poem - Actual test this Monday 30/4/12. Parents, I am sorry to inform you that I will not be able to test the pupils  this coming Monday because of the exam timetable . AS such, I will be testing them on Wednesday 2 May.
3) Bring story book .
4) There will be speech and drama class this coming Monday. Pls bring your script.
5) Bring brown file , with all signatures completed and all unit WS filed inside. Re-write whole story neatly using given template . Write name, class and date above.
6) Please do corrections for Write right WS . Pg 13. ( The 4 pictures about a cat and a goldfish) . Pupils have to re-write the whole piece of writing neaty using a blue pen.

2) As you know, our boys have carried out an activity to plant a seed and watch it sprout into seedlings. The boys have  learnt from observation and  trial and error the correct way to plant seeds.  The photo below is the seedling of one of our boys,---- Isaac Chow  . Well done, Isaac !

2) Rubrics and Reading passage "A Friend" are given. These are for next week's AMODES. No need to memorise poem. Just practise at home with your parents. I have taught the pupils how to recite it ( with expression and pauses) . Test starts on Monday, starting from Index No  1 - whenever we have time . Pupils must be prepared from next Monday onwards. No specific date for individual pupils. Thanks!

1) D day is finally here! Tomorrow- AMODES 1 ( 30 marks) " My Favourite Animal" . Please bring the object- could be anything eg soft toy, picture, drawing of the animal, etc .
Pupil must memorise script, smile ,look confident. Remember to greet teacher and classmates and introduce himself and topic and make references to the object, not hold it in isolation. Pupil must be expressive as well.
Gentle Reminder - AMODES 2 -(20 marks)  next week. Revise Unit WS in brown file- Rhyming words, sound discrimination ( beginning sounds, vowel sounds)
2) Do Unit 11 WS Pg 4, 5 ,6 and 7 . Hand in before sch.
3) Do WR WS Corrections - Some pupils have to re-write story for corrections because they did not write in a paragraph or had too many errors. Do corrections using blue pen.

Pleas refer to your son's Diary because he noted it then. If you are bringing the filling, pls bring enough for 6 boys, put it in a container . (If mayonnaise is needed, pls add to filling and and mix thoroghly.)


3) For parents who are helping out tomorrow for the sandwich-making activity, please report to the classroom at 11.15 am. ( change of venue) I need your help to set up the group table and food items so that when the class returns from Assembly, we can proceed with the activity immediately after some tuning-in activity.  Thanks!
