1) Thank you parents for your well-wishes, gifts, notes and cards and for making this Teachers'  Day a very memorable occasion for me.

2) Please do corrections neatly for Writing "A Day At The Beach" in the blue Writing book (Use a sharpened pencil. You should have 4 paragraphs.)

3) Learn Spelling from Term 4 Spelling list (first list of words)

4) Bring story book for exchange.

5) Remember to read at least 5 story books during the holidays.

1) Purple files are returned for revision.
2) Progress cards are given. Parent to sign. Keep at home.
3) :Letter from GO is given.
4) School is as per normal tomorrow. Dismissal Time is 1.45 pm
5) Please take out the SPURS Booklet ( Semester 2 )  that has been filed in new brown file and hand in to me tomorrow. I need to choose a few booklets for a competition. So some of you may get a chance to win a prize.

1) For pupils who have forgotten to bring the reply slip for "Teach Me To Fish", pls bring it tomorrow.

2) Pupils have to bring the following materials as mentioned in the form for " Teach Me To Fish" tomorrow.
- shoes with laces ( They can wear the white shoes to school but if the shoes are of other colours, pls carry them to school.  Only white shoes can be worn to sch)
- Wear the school uniform tomorrow. No T-shirts, please.
- paper plate and plastic knife

3)  Bring photo order with money sealed in envelope and particulars clearly written.  ( if you have not done so)

4) Parent to sign Grammar AMODES test paper. Hand in tomorrow.

1) Hand in "Teach Me To Fish" reply slip for pupils who have not handed in yet.
2) Hand in signed AMODES 2 Vocab by tomorrow.
3) Order for class photos - Write information required for order on envelope provided. Fill in nos, size of photo, and total cost for each category as well.
Put money in the envelope and seal it.
 (Formal 1 - dark background with names of pupils,  Formal 2- light background with names of pupils, Informal- clowning around- no names, Special Candid- special effect- no names)  Ihave photocopied samples of the different kinds of photos and given out tpo the pupils. 
4) Grammar and Vocab List for Term 4 is given.
5) Spelling List for Term 4 is given. Ex will start on first  Monday - term 4.
6) Parent to sign Spelling bk. Do Corrections.
7) No Lteracy Blk tomorrow.
8) Reminder - PVS who are helping out for the session "Teach Me to Fish"  this coming Wednesday, 29 Aug,  please report to classroom before the first peiod at 7.45 am.

1) First of all, I sincerely apologise for not putting up a post on the Class Blog yesterday. I was involved in the Pr 6 Prelim marking and finished it just before 7 pm. So, I had no time at all in the afternoon to do it.
2) Parent to sign List of useful phrases on a beach and a picnic. Revise and bring list tomorrow.
3) Deadline-- All the following must be checked,  signed and returned by tomorrow.

- new Brown file ( Unit 18 WS should be filed inside)

4)  For next Wednesday 29 August, , our pupils will be going for their "Teach Me To Fish " activity. The session will be from 7.45 am to 10.05 am. We are appealing for parent volunteers to help out as we are short of volunteers. The recommended number is 6 but we only have 4 presently helping out.  ( Thanks, Mr Long for agreeing to help out despite your busy schedule)
The pupils will be required to bring the following items for the session:

• plastic knife/fork
• melamine /plastic plate
• shoes with laces
• school uniform (to be worn)

1) Learn Spelling for next Monday ( last column of Past tense List.)

2) Purple files are returned for checking by parent. Parent to check that all handouts and pieces of work have been completed and filed according to the Contents page (including corrections, names and class and parent signatures.  I have put post-its for pages not completed yet. Pls hand in to me tomorrow.

3) Parent to sign Spelling bk. Do Corrections. Pls check Spelling ex book and get your child to complete previous corrections or sign any page not signed yet.

4) New brown files are with your sons. For those who did not bring the new brown files today, please hand in to me for checking tomorrow. Add in AMODES 2 L. C. on the Index page. Thanks! 
The following boys need to bring the new brown files tomorrow.

1) This week is a 3 day week. There is school from Monday 13 Aug to Wed 15 August. Pupils need not come to sch on Thursday and Friday because of PSLE Oral Exams.
2) Revise Learning sheets 15.1, 15.2, 15.5, 17.1 and 17.2 for AMODES Vocabulary test tomorrow.
3) Revise Learning sheets 17.4, 17.7, 18.3, 16.7, 17.5, 16.3, 16.5, and 18.2  for next Thursday 23 August AMODES Grammar Test. ( Present and Past Tense, Prepositions, and Pronouns)
4) Pupils need to learn Spelling - Past tense list from 'drop' to 'wait' ( abt 22 sets of words) Spelling will be tseted next Tuesday  ( Monday is a public holiday)
5) Parents to sign Spelling ex book. Do corrections . Hand in tomorrow.
6) Some pupils have still not put their Unit 17 WS into the new brown file. Pls do so before you lose the WS.
Pupils should have already filed in their Units 15, 16 and 17 WS, Holiday WS and the scoresheet for Show and Tell T3 in the new brown file. Parents, pls check that you have signed every ws in the new brown file. The new brown file has to be handed in next Thursday 23 August for checking.

1) Please be reminded that school will end at 10.30 am tomorrow. ( National Day celebrations) Pupils to wear PE shorts and school t-shirt.
2)  The 5 boys who are involved in the performanc at KKH today, please do your homework at home ( given to you today in class) and hand in tomorrow under the white board in class. No need to bring any bag tomorrow. All pupils to bring a water bottle with a sling and a snack.
3) Unit 17 WS havebeen returned to the pupils for revision.. A few pupils still have corrections for Pg 17. Pls do corrections and hand to me next Monday. A few WS have still not been signed by parents. Parents, please sign the worksheets before your son puts the worksheets into the new brown file at home. Thanks!
