1)Compo AMODES
Revise for Compo AMODES tomorrow. Learn to spell words you may want to use for your composition eg relieved, decided, because, Finally, perspiration. ...
Learn how to use dialogue correctly, if you want to use it. ( A group)
Learn spelling of past tense. Marks will be deducted for wrong spelling and punctuation. ( Max score -10 marks)
Pupils have to write an interesting story based on 4 pictures. Guiding questions will be given. Pupils need not use the questions, if they want to write on their own. Some helping words will also be provided. For format of AMODES Compo, refer to Guided Compo - "The Helpful Boys"
Compositions must flow. Pupils must use link words and appropriate vocab and phrases to make story interesting. Revise purple file. Revise list of expressions for feelings in the purple file.

1) Just a casual announcement to say that Ren Cher will be performing (with an orchestra group) in a concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall at 3 pm on 14 July. Interested parties who are free during that time, may want to buy tickets and support him, if you can.
2) Parent to sign Story endings ( cover). Pls take note of post-its on affected pages and do the needful.(date, parent's signature or corrections not completed) Thanks!

Also, there were quite a number of boys who handed in thermometers which were not working today. Pls check the thermometer and hand in one, that is working well, tomorrow. Thanks! Please also ensure that it is in a case or plastic ziplock bag with the name clearly written on it.
2) Samples of class photographs were given out today with the envelope for the order. Pls write the order on the front of the envelope, put the exact money needed inside and seal the envelope.

5) Bring purple and old brown files by tomorrow. Pls ensure they are filed correctly and in order according to the Contents page in front. ( esp if you have taken out WS for revision)
